Laura Diamond is a writer and adoptee, working on an adoptee memoir set in New York. She has essays in the books Facing the Music: Documenting Walt Disney Concert Hall and the Redevelopment of Downtown Los Angeles and Asymmetric Labors: The Economy of Architecture in Theory and Practice. She has written on migrant construction labor for the journal The Avery Review and the photographic representation of Manhattan’s Lower East Side for the magazine Camera Austria. She has a Master of Architecture from Princeton University, a Master of Philosophy from Columbia University, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Reed College.
